Updated swing aid but still a heavy club for your swing and for your wallet Mar 31, 2008 They have since updated the latest installment of the ever popular Medicus Hinged club with a 460 cc shaft.
The 'dual hinge' has no advantage over alternative hinged drivers. You can adjust the sensitivity of the hinge which is useful.
It is still heavier than your own driver, regardless, so I find this club futile to practice with. If you have something that does not replicate the conditions for which you are practicing, what is the use?
The videos are helpful and that may be why the cost is so much higher (endorsements and advertising). The top tips is a 10 minute video by Champions tour players and Mark O Meara. The instructional video is just a 10 minute demonstration of where the club breaks.
However, the cost of the DVDs does not bridge the gap from cheaper alternatives such as the Refiner by Skilz.
ReFiner 460cc Hinged Driver, Right Handed, Mens
I bought the Refiner Driver which is lighter and has the same function/advantages for a lot less money (about 40% less).

Medicus Driver Jan 14, 2008 My husband loves this practice driver and was thrilled with it as a Christmas gift. He's used it over and over again but we are both very disappointed that the bonus dual-handled putter and the two free bonus DVDs were NOT included, as stated in the product description. It's an expensive device and would have been nice to get the extras.
